Link is to a route map. Suggested air routing (emphasis on low & slow) would be PANC-PASW-PAMC-PAGA-PAUN-PAOM. The STOL-minded Dash 7 could handle the entire routing, but if something like the Electra or the DC-6 is more of your thing, skip Skwentna; the runway is too short. The larger of the twin turboprops might also consider skipping Skwentna. All other airports can handle just about anything in the AKA fleet.
A record low number of 34 mushers were listed at entrance deadline time. May they all finish safely.
